São Nicolau – The Living Floret of São Tomé
A community-centred sustainable development initiative combining education, responsible tourism, environmental protection, cultural heritage and local entrepreneurship.
The project seeks to strengthen livelihoods and community opportunities while protecting São Nicolau's natural and cultural assets.
02 - HEALTHCARE | SÃO TOMÉ AND PRÍNCIPE
SIMPACT STP Health Project
Supporting neonatal healthcare at Hospital Dr. Ayres de Menezes through medical equipment mobilisation, international partnerships, professional training and capacity development.
The initiative is led by Dr Isabel Fernandes, working with healthcare stakeholders and SIMPACT's international partners.
Current priority: Supporting the hospital's neonatal equipment needs, including incubators, monitoring equipment and essential accessories.

Ribeira Funda – Community & Sustainable
DevelopmentLocation: São Tomé and PríncipeThe Ribeira Funda Project aims to revitalise and empower the local community through sustainable development, education, entrepreneurship and environmental conservation. By promoting community participation, improving local opportunities and encouraging responsible use of natural resources, SIMPACT PALOP seeks to support economic independence, preserve cultural heritage and create a brighter, more sustainable future for Ribeira Funda.
04 - WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT | UNITED KINGDOM
Women Stronger Together
An initiative designed to support women from diverse backgrounds through education, employability, confidence-building, financial independence and social inclusion.
The programme aims to create safe spaces for learning, mutual support and access to professional and community opportunities.
05 - EDUCATION & ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY| SÃO TOMÉ AND PRÍNCIPE
Education, Skills & Entrepreneurship
Promoting professional development, leadership, business skills and entrepreneurship through training, mentoring and partnerships with educational and professional institutions.
